Our Mares

Providing beautiful foals and offspring for sale

We have four mares who we join to Muscles to produce the much sought after New Forest cross. We have three Arabian mares and one Morgan x Thoroughbred mare providing a variety of riding pony sized foals.

Coolinda Park Emprezz

Empress, as she is known, is the Alpha mare of our herd. She was foaled in 2008 and produced her first Muscles foal in June 2024. She stands at 14.1hh and is bay with a very small amount of bling.

Empress is a Polish Arabian, which is a smaller and more compact version of the Arab type. She has plenty of bone and produced a lovely colt foal in 2023 and is expecting her next foal in early 2025.

Esperer LA

Hope is a lovely young Arabian mare, who has recently been trained for riding, but returned home to start her maternal duties. She has rewarded us with a beautiful filly foal from Muscles - Sweetstone Saffron.

Hope is 14.3hh, born in 2017 and joined us in 2021 from East Gippsland. She delighted the trainers with her can-do attitude and laid back manner. They say she is exactly the sort of mare that should be producing offspring that will be tractable, trainable and someone's gorgeous riding horse.

We were very excited about the "unicorn" that Hope and Muscles would produce together! This offspring will definitely be for sale, and will certainly be chestnut! See Sweetstone Saffron under Offspring

Touens Park Aliza

Aliza is a 15.1hh Egyptian Arabian mare, having produced her first foal by Arabian stallion Shai'lan Shah standing at Touens Park Stud. Sweetstone Luna, her rising two year old black pure bred filly, can be seen under the "Offspring" section.

Aliza is an exemplary mum and produced a gorgeous filly foal in late September 2025. She is an easy mare to handle and we are delighted with her first filly, Luna and now her second one.

KD Katalina

Kitty is the last of our current mares, and she is a Thoroughbred x Morgan mare standing at 15.3hh. She joins us from local friends who see her as being too valuable to not be producing quality foals

Kitty was joined to Muscles for a late September 2024 foal and duly produced a gorgeous colt on the last day of September. She is a very correct and friendly girl, whose foal should mature between 14.2 and 15.2 hh, the perfect height for a Riding Club or Pony Club mount. If both parents pass on their laid-back natures and attributes, this foal will be something!

Sanlirra Sugar Pot

Sugar Pot is a registered Australian Riding Pony who has reached the end of her breeding career. She is Muscles' devoted paddock companion and they spend time together in our native grass paddocks.
